Acceptance of terms

By using NEXA Server, any NEXA client application (including NEXA Player, NEXA Audio, NEXA Check), or the NEXA Alexa skill, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the software.

What NEXA is

NEXA is a self-hosted media platform. The server runs on your own hardware; client apps connect to your server. Romeoz Apps operates a free directory at nexaapp.tv so that sign-ins and server discovery work across devices, but we do not store your media.

Your responsibilities

You are responsible for the content stored on and streamed from your NEXA server. You must ensure you have the legal right to store, transcode, and play any media files on your server. NEXA is a tool for managing your personal media collection — you use it at your own risk and responsibility.

Self-hosted nature

Your NEXA server runs on hardware you own. You are responsible for maintaining it, keeping it updated, and ensuring its security, backups, and network access. Romeoz Apps is not responsible for data loss, server downtime, media corruption, or security breaches on your self-hosted instance.

Third-party integrations

NEXA supports integrations with third-party services including Amazon Alexa, Philips Hue, Wyze, TMDb, Apple's Push Notification service, and IPTV providers. Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms. Romeoz Apps is not responsible for their availability, functionality, or conduct.

Account termination

You may delete your NEXA account at any time from the profile page. We reserve the right to suspend accounts that abuse the shared directory infrastructure (for example, registering thousands of fake servers, or using the directory for spam).

Disclaimer of warranties

NEXA is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. Romeoz Apps does not guarantee that the software will be error-free, uninterrupted, or fit for a particular purpose.

Limitation of liability

Romeoz Apps shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of NEXA — including but not limited to lost media, lost time, or lost sleep.

Changes

We may modify these terms as the platform evolves. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms. Material changes will be surfaced in-app at your next sign-in.
